Would it worth to buy 166.002

Hi, I was looking on a local trading website, and saw this 166.002 for 450 USD. Even though I have relatively knowledge on watches, never bought an antique one. Dial seemed super nice, and I can maybe only change the glass to keep it affordable. Does it makes sense to buy or at least check it out?

Looks like a 166.003, not a .002, to start. The gold filling has been extremely overpolished, to the point where the steel is showing through on the lugs. The crown isn't correct for this model, and the cellulose-based lacquer on the dial has degraded with oxidation marks and crazing. I personally would look for a better overall example for a little more.
