Crystal looks a bit beaten and no movement shots but what do you think? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-1...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item566e37d88cPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Graham.
It's not worth much more than the opening amount, but looks like an honest (yet less than perfect) watch. I'd call it a good daily wearer, except it's probably got a 36k bph caliber 431 and they require a little more maintenance than a garden variety 21.6k bhp Admiral of the same late 60's to 70's era.
Thanks for the opinion, I did have the opening price in mind when I saw it. I was rather hoping that you'd say a light polish, new crystal and a service would make it a worthy addition to my collection! I guess to you it's just a daily beater.
It's not a bad watch at all. If you're looking for a caliber 431 high beat, most collectors want the ones with the Ultra-Chron logo on the outside of the case back, and sometimes even a C-case.
