Hello, this is my first thread ever so bear with me. I am considering to buy a Omega Constellation C-shape (automatic), but i dont really know if it is 100% original and worth the price tag. The Watch is currently sold as a non-runner, but is in overall good shape. The glass can be polished. I would like to know if the dial is original, because the hands look like to have luminious but the dial doenst say T-swiss-T. (I have noticed al lot of C-shape miss this part). The crown looks original to me. Are these Calibers hard to repair (to find parts etc)? It is currently listed for 600 us dollars.
Impossible to tell for sure based on those photos, but so far, for me, its a hard pass i presume its not solid gold for that asking price?
Agree that the photos don’t help, but there’s enough for me to consider this an unattractive proposition at that price, especially as a non-running watch. And the dial certainly doesn’t look in “good shape” to me.
I think that for that money you can find a better looking Omega Constellation than this, especially if the dirt showing in the photos is in the dial and not in the glass...
Thanks for your input, no it is unfortunaly not sold gold. i am not going to buy it because it has dirt on the dial.
Thanks for the input, i agree that the dial isnt in the best shape. The price is a bit high, i think 400 dollar is fair.
Thanks for the input, the dirt is on the dial, so i am not buying the watch. I really like the gold on gold combination, but i think somewhere like 400 usd is fair.
I think for a watch in that state about $150-$250 is more than fair. It look likes a money pit and will never be a show stopper
