Hello there. I came across this vintage Omega and was wondering if everything looks in order so to speak. I checked the reference and the movement and it all adds up. The only thing that troubles me is the dial. Any help will be appreciated.
Sorry should have been more specific. The thing that troubles me if it is a redial. I am not bothered by the condition. Quite the contrary actually.
I would say that the dial is original, but the damage makes it a bit hard to tell. But damage like that usually takes time, and redials are usually accompanied by unnaturally bright and pristine colors. But seriously, don't buy this watch without recent documented service history of the movement, and some movement pictures to go along with it. Because....
I do since the dial may be in a terrible shape but if it is original it has seen so many things over its 61 year life so far and there is something very fascinating and appealing in that at least for me.
