i bought these two watches on eBay last month and I'm wondering if anyone out there knows anything about them. I made the green band and am planning on making a band for the gold watch. Anybody know anything about either of these watches?

You'd have to open them up and take pictures of the movement to know more about them, I've never seen any design like the first one but it looks 1960s based on the shape of the case and the hands.
To be honest I have doubts whether its dial is original, hope you did not pay too much for it?

The second one is a classic 1950s design that doesn't have a particular name, possibly housing a cal. 12.68Z movement.

Very nice strap by the way, congrats!!

The first watch is probably a refinished dial, and most likely has a caliber 370 or maybe a 23Z inside from the very late 1950's to the late 60's. Nice work on the strap.

The second watch has an original dial. It looks like a case reference (i.e. model number) 8888 and it houses a caliber 30L (one of the most desired manual wind movements made). It appears to have an original crown also. Great watch. Get it serviced and cleaned up a little and wear it.
