Hello all!

Recently acquired this wittnauer mystery dial, with this stunning dial.

Unfortunately its missing its bezel, which I did not realize upon purchase. Does anyone know where I might either acquire a new case to rob of the bezel, or a bezel?

If not, I will likely be putting it back up for sale,if anyone is interested.

That’s what I figured.. I’m looking for cases or maybe another whole watch just to part out for it. It’s a real shame!

 

That is a unique design. It would probably take awhile, but with enough patience you may be able to find one on eBay.

 

That’s my hope! I’m probably just going to keep it and scan eBay every day.

Give me some dimensions. Do you have access to a digital caliper? Located in the US?

 

I am located in the US, but don’t have a digital caliper. I know the case size is 34mm, and the bezel seat is right at 32mm according to my manual calipers

 

To help with a bezel, I need 2 accurate dimensions. The outside case diameter (you don't want the bezel to hang over) and the outside diameter of the lip that the bezel needs to snap over. Prefer the dimensions to be +-.1mm or tighter. Or you could just ship it to me and I can do it at my desk

Out of curiousity, what is the lug width?

 

I've done a quick sort. All of them on the table are between 33 and 35mm o.d. What about fitting a crystal?

 

Good news! The seller says he ‘ found the bezel’ and it came off but he thought nothing of it. Not sure why.

II will be getting it from him soon!

The bezel seems to be a friction fit fixed one. Not sure why it came off. Hope it's not damaged.
