Mickey was looking for a 145.022 with a 220 bezel when this beauty popped-up
To the best of my knowledge it is a true survivor. The dial and bezel are in such outstanding original condition that it may have spent most of it's life in a drawer like I was told. My finger-tips tell me that it may never have been polished. Yes, all the edges are that sharp.
What you see is what you get: The original 1171 bracelet and 633 end-clips, the receipt for a through sympathetic service less than a year ago including all the original parts and a recent Extract from the Archives.
As much as he loves this one, he'd love a 220 bezel version even more.
No matter what we have it seems as though we always love the one we don't have.
It's obvious that the only one watch that would drive Mickey to give this one up.
However he would insist on it being as good an example, condition wise, as his.
If it was as complete as his he would consider adding some sugar to make the deal sweeter.
However he has no issues with wearing this one until the right one shows up.
Mickey has no issues with sending his watch first for inspection to the "right" trade partner in a CONUS deal only.
If the watch isn't as described, then just return it within 24 hours of receipt. Better yet, send him your watch
