Winter vacation

Sadly, just finished mine. Very relaxing. Lots of golf, working out, good food. Now back to reality.

Accommodations on the left (not in my budget but I have a generous buddy).

Anyone else?

Timely post. I am leaving on vacation Monday.

Going to the beach. I find this to be the best way to explore the beaches. And a lot cheaper!!

Well, one year ago today I was sitting in 1D...

Heading to Australia for 5 weeks by way of Beijing...first leg of the trip nearly over after 11,000 kms...

Leg 2 of the trip was on Air China...seats not quite as nice as Air Canada, more like "old school" business class seats...

But they did take very good care of us. Unfortunately not a trip we do every year. Spent 4 days at the Australian Open tennis last year, and it was sort of cruel when they kept sending me emails to get my tickets for this year...

So no vacations planned for this winter. 🙁
