I have a client located in Boston who decided today and tomorrow would be a fantastic time for some on site meetings.

Anyone else near the Boston/NY/PA area prepping for this blizzard?! Gonna be a wild time.

Stay safe, and be sure to post snow photos here!

I'm in Malawi, East Africa, it is hot and sunny here. Might need to go and fetch some more cold beer. Enjoy your blizzard :D

Being from Maine I'm not really put off by snow, when I'm in Maine. However, when in Baltimore, things are different. Yesterday the forecast was 18" to 20" of snow, prepare for the end of the world. Given the forecast our project elected to cancel working today. Here is the reality from my hotel window. Yes, a plow truck for less than 1" of snow:

Have some cooling thoughts! We've got 12-20 inches of accumulation predicted last I looked.

Expecting a 12"-15" here in Buffalo. Looks like we are just getting the edge of the storm, so no blizzard just winter weather warnings etc. School was canceled, which I am thankful for because that means no school bus accidents! We only have a couple inches right now but the plows are out and doing their job. Hope everyone stays safe and warm!

I'm a Canadian ex-pat living in Boston. It's starting to snow here. Hasn't affected my routine.

That reminds me of the time when Toronto was hit by a snow storm decades ago. The mayor declared an emergency and called the Canadian army to remove the show. Us Montrealers found that hilarious!

My wife sent me this from her parents house in the middle of Finland. She has gone to visit her mum who has been taken ill with a brain tumour. She is thankfully going to be ok but the snow is not going anywhere soon.

Definitely blustery out there and the snow is accumulating. I'm glad I'm snug at home. One of these years I'm going to get that whole-house backup generator I've been wanting.

Nothing reveals the tough, adventurer, frontiersman gene of the American north east like snow...

E-ver-y year the world is going to end in NYC when snow is coming

I am in Boston and lost all power about 20 minutes ago.

Too bad electricity is not as reliable as perpetual motion.

I had to use 2 OMEGA NATO's so I could wear my watch while shoveling.

Winter Storm Stella, here's to you.
