    Hello,

I own an Omega 300 watch in titanium.
When I wind the it the crown I can only feel some spring resistance.
It doesn't produce any ratcheting noise or ratcheting tactile feedback like my other watches do.

Is this normal for this model ?
If you own this watch please share how your behaves.

Reading between the lines, it appears as though your Seamaster is an automatic winder. The sound you’ll hear when winding a self winder as opposed to the sound from a manual winder is usually quite different. A self winder usually makes a faint whirring sound as the reverser gear(s) spin during winding. The main click on the ratchet wheel will also made a sound discernible to one with very good hearing, but that sound might be partially hidden by the whirring reverse(s). Probably quite normal.

I have 3 more watches (no Omega's) - all of them are automatic and all make the whirring sound you mentioned when manually wound.
This one ( Master Co-Axial calibre 8400 ) makes absolutely no sound when wound.

Suggest you just wear it, and let the watch attend to the winding.

I have the same watch in steel, and the silent winding is normal. Nothing to worry about.
