Winder for a 1950 Automatic Bumper 342 Caliber (17 Jewel)? Any suggestions?

So, I finally got back my father's serviced 1950 Omega Automatic Bumper 342 Caliber, with a new official Omega leather strap. Looks beautiful and runs great (will post pics soon). But I may not wear it every day, so I was wondering if I should get an automatic winder for those times I won't be around to wind it? Or is it better to simply let it stop on its own, wind the crown and reset the clock every time I decide to wear it, after a few days of not wearing it?

If it is better to get an automatic winder, does anyone know what the ideal settings are for this kind of watch?

Thank you in advance.

Waste of money and unnecessary wear on your watch. Just let it stop.

Having a bumper caliber on a winder is not a good idea, continual sustained "bumping" is not good for the movement.

Just wind it / set it when you wear it and then enjoy the clunk clunk as you move around.
