    Hello all ,

I am new to omega and new to the forum as well but not new to watch world . Recently picked a piece 3606 movement and the reference number is 32213000... now here is the thing with this reference entire chrono 24 has 5 pieces and out of 5 just 2 are exact same as I have the clasp and needle of 24 hours marker ... will for omega lover this be classified as rare piece ? Will appreciate ur input ... once again thanks in advance and a good weekend to everyone reading this

Greetings! I like it and especially the pointer date hand. That watch has a lot of complications. I am not up on all the modern models so I can't comment on rarity but congrats on the watch. :)

I think you will be disappointed if you think this is considered rare.

Hi, welcome to the world of Omega watches!

My understanding is rare is defined by a few factors and key being how many produced and age.

Modern watches tend to not be rare unless they are limited runs. And it’ll be interesting how rarity will work in the future as many people are babying or even keeping extra of certain watches in good condition which will reverse their rarity in the future :(.

if you like the idea of wearing rare pieces, I suggest focusing on limited runs and vintage... and based on the picture you’re lucky enough to be quite proportional to wear smaller vintages... not that big wrists can’t.

The watch you bought is nice regardless of rarity. Enjoy it on good health!

Chrono24 should not be basis for rarity.

it’s a nice piece. Not rare though. I have one in blue. Will wear next week so i can post a picture here.

1st rate does not mean valuable.

of the octopuses (8handers) this is not the most common color way. But it’s not exactly rare. Rare means they come up for sale 1 or 2 times a year at most.

This one is rare, unique ,impossible to get but no value or high value , rareness means nothing until someone willing it is ready to pay , but in your case you can get hundreds of them easily , nothing rare at the end

I bought mine new from an AD in 2008. I love it and still wear it several times a week, but I definitely don't consider it to be a rare model at all
