why was the ebay/value thread locked without explanation?

Well you seemed to be the only one recommending good value, On a lot of watches.

Then you were recommending watches that were good value if they were half the price they were. 馃槙

I actually found that thread fun and put a few up. I think many members enjoyed sharing watches we thought were good values (with reasonable BIN) but were either duplicates of what we had or out of our current collecting range. Some members here even jumped on them.
not sure why it was locked either.

No it doesn鈥檛, this is not a democracy. We play in the playground that someone lets us play for free. If they want to change the length and colour of the slippery dip they can.

Was every watch you recommended from a good eBay seller ??
Don鈥檛 think you checked every seller before posting...

A lot happens behind the scenes 馃摉 and the mods may have good reason.

That sense of entitlement will get you nowhere. Send a pm to the mods asking for clarification if you want but remember this place owes you nothing, we are here as guests. Not really sure where business decisions come into it.

We pay no dues, and I see no ads, in what form will this "bad business decision" take and how will it affect remuneration towards the site owners?

whoever did this effectively destroyed everything good and kept people coming back to this thread, which by the way was going would be one of the most visited and popular in the other watch brands sub forum if it was to continue it's course.

there have been numerous replies saying how valuable it was as well.

such an awful step in the wrong direction and also a bad business decision.

Ohhhh- dude, you didn鈥檛 have to go there. You could have stopped at- I thought it was a fun thread and curious why they decided to close it- I was with you there.

You brought up a reasonable concern and I鈥檒l agree that the thread mentioned has some value. You lost me and others when you demanded public explanations about what are private decisions that are not owed you or anyone else.
