It just seems odd... Omega hasn't released a new Aqua Terra Chrono since what, 2012?

IMO, this is arguably the best looking Chrono that Omega ever made, and yet they seem to release a new Speedy every other week... with near zero attention to other Chronographs in the range. That said, even the PO, SM300 and others are getting more attention.

Anyone have any insight into what the story may be? It just seems odd since a "dressier" Chrono is literally available in just about every other decent watch line out there, and its not like they dont have the movement on hand or the available cases to fit it.

My guess is sales of those was too slow to justify a new edition.

Dress chronos are very very out of style. They also tended to have price points that made little sense vs the rest of the line so people that wanted them as dressier sports chronos went to a more sport oriented watch. Even Seamaster non PO chronos do not seem to be big sellers and I was surprised they brought out a new model.
