    I have seen 2 JB Champion mesh with horned ends go for less than $800 recently. I got one of them.

    You see, it is hard to reason with passion (or fanaticism). Some guy has that one grail speedy that deserves this very exact bracelet, box and papers no less. He probably charges 900 bucks per hour for working some finance/consulting job at partner level.

    But, for that price (exclusive of eBay tax), you can get a very nice vintage Rolex with a honeycomb dial, but that doesn't matter. It's a strange hobby;)
