I did not realize there was so many references for a watch that (aside from some limited editions) has retain the same design ! I mean I know about the changes from 321 to 861 to 1861, but it's soooo much more complicated ! Anyway, this article may just have given me the Speedy virus. Damn you !
Always great when someone takes the time to write up something like that. Really interesting resource, as well as an entertaining read - at least for people like me who are too interested in watches in general, and Speedmaster in particular!
I purchased the FOIS Speedmaster due to its size(39mm) and how it looks dressier (alpha hands and no crown guards) then the regular speedmaster.
Really enjoyable read. My story being very different. I saw it in a shop window one day. Knowing nothing about the history of them I bought it simply because I liked it. No research. Just because I liked it.... Made me happy since
