I have some different watches that I wear and they all stay at the bank when not in use. I was there the other day and going through the box and saw this piece, which I bought almost 10 years ago from a well known vintage Omega collector and all around good guy but have never worn. I was looking at the dial and decided to put it on the wrist for a few days and am really loving it. It is not perfect but has a great look and is very comfortable. Don't know a lot about the watch and have never opened it up. Speedmaster dial.JPG

Anyhow, just sharing. Happy Monday all.

Lovely dial. The telemeter bezel really changes the look.

    I'd guess at a 105.012-65

Just went back and looked at my watch data and you are right on with that reference. Good eye and knowledge.

    Love that bezel.
Does anyone know how to tell if these are old or new?
Do the old ones have an inner ring or something?
I think I have a miles and Km sitting in my box.

Regarding MWO and this bezel, the book shows both the vintage and service MILE bezels having the sharp 3s and points to the typography as with the Km examples. So with Nick's, it's hard to tell actually. Looks like the vintage one in the book. It is pristine.

    History Nick?

Interesting question. As mentioned, I bought the watch several years ago from a vintage Omega WIS but never wore it until last Friday, and I have not had the watch serviced (and it winds and runs great), so this is how the watch came to me. I have reached out to him today to see what he recalls regarding the bezel but haven't heard back.
