Why do people bid on garbage just because it has Omega on it?

Spotted this watch. 25 bids on it.

Appears as if some got to close to something that left slice marks in two spots on the bezel. A corresponding gouge on the lug edge and a gouge in the bezel near the crystal

Can't polish it out as it's a lot deeper than surface marks and in bad areas

Movement missing parts and junk condition

Good for screws and a ratchet wheel

That's a rare Rolex. Was manufactured in Eneva. As rare as the Omega Seahamster line.....

... cause it has Omega on it!
Lol!

Maybe people think it’s
better to buy Omega garbage
than Garbage garbage ... ?!

So it’s at least quality junk!

Trust me I have been finding this out as I have been looking for a vintage Seamaster for myself. My first vintage watch and well I have been running a bunch through the guys on this forum to help me find a good one and the junk people are still buying at crazy pieces in my opinion blows my mind.

Maybe people are just bored these days?

At least the Omega is mostly real, if still mostly junk.
