australia got a wildcard entry this year (we are the largest viewers outside Europe) and at the moment we are coming 7th!

Pity for Germany and Austria, who were great hosts. Far too many European countries blame Germany for their ills when they should look elsewhere.

A lot of people began to complain some years ago, because the artists was beginning to wear less and less clothes, especially the Eastern European contestants (mainly the females), so it became more of a strip contest than a music show. I quite liked the way it was heading, but of course somebody ruined it and for the last couple of years people have been dressing almost appropriate. Boooooring.... When Denmark held Eurovision last year the budget was exceeded by 300 percent, primarely because of the extravagant stage show which cost like a gazillion. A couple of morons were fired and it was all a big scandal.
