So today my girlfriend gave me one of my Xmas boxes as she is away over the Christmas period.... I love it! Been after this for ages! It's FULL to the gunnels of info... If your I to Omega watches this is the book to get! PERIOD!
When I read that and hear that most of you own it then I question if I am really a WIS...... What I mean is that I couldn't imagine spending $400 on a book about the history of a watch brand (I'm sure it is a great book and a lovely present though - please don't take offence).
You're allowed to spend money in other directions. Really, I said so! If you want to do vintage Omega though, this book is practically a necessity.
The watch is a Submariner 114060. But the OMEGA book is on my list too. Until I own it I will pop up over your shoulder from time to time for information.
I worked on the basis that if it helped me avoid buying one redial or franken it would pay for itself.Seems to be working so far...
