WHO WANTS TO BE THERE FOR A 5TH ANNUAL 2026 MID-ATLANTIC G2G?

Good morning OF all! Gbesq (Greg) here. As many of you know, we had four great G2G's in Baltimore (yes, even though it was in Baltimore) from 2021 through 2024. Unfortunately, as many also know, I was not able to be there in 2024 due to some serious medical issues that started on November 1st of 2024 and continued through 2025. I am finally happy to tell you that I am doing much better now. Given my illness, I decided that it would be best to skip the G2G for 2025 until I was better. Before I got sick, I had been one of several OF members who started the 2021 G2G. What started as 6 people at a casual lunch, it eventually became a real party for more than 30 people who were there in 2024. Before I forget, I want to again thank several OF members who jumped in and took the reins on the 2024 G2G when I couldn't be there. Folks, you know who you are and, again, thank you and you're the best.

Now, for those of you who were there on 2024, and especially for those who have never been there (shame of you!), here's how it went:


If there are enough people who are ready for another 2026 - probably again in December - please let me know. It's a lot of work, but I've already had a few who are ready to help. At this point, I'm obviously not asking for a commitment. Just doing a casual yes, no or don't know yet. Thanks guys. I hope that we'll do it again.

December gets tougher and tougher for scheduling each year it seems but I'll try to be there again!

December isn't really a problem. I'm happy to discuss it if another month is better.

Thanks for noting the wrong date. That has been corrected for 2026. We have not started planning the G2G 2026 yet, but you'll receive multiple messages from OF when the planning begins.

I’ve already received a few questions about changing the month date. I don’t have a problem with it. I am going to send an email to past attendees to ask them which month they would prefer. Keep in mind that it takes at least three months for us to put together the G2G. There is a lot of work that goes into the event.

I would love to attend! My work is very busy in the summer, so hopefully my schedule works out if you move the date.

I'm going to ask all of the past attendees what month would be best. At the moment, I'm thinking about something between September to November.

Cool! I'm super excited. I really missed not having a meetup last year. I've been slowing down on new acquisitions lately. I need people encourage and enable me to do unwise financial things.
