    Hi fellas,

    does anybody of you know which case-maker uses (-ed) this hallmark S-S ?

    Could it be Stauffer et Fils? They were a Swiss manufacturer. They seemed to use SS and SF as marks.

    Sometimes the watch era and the other hallmarks give a clue as to the case origin which reduces the list of possibilities. For example, if it's a case imported to Britain which you can identify from the hallmark, then it reduces this to finding a sponsor with the initials SS. What's the watch?
