Spillman cased Mulco chronograph with inverse pushers hiding a Venus (173?) movement?

I was thinking about a Valjoux 22 and hoping for Mulco or better:D. I haven’t seen radial Arabic numerals before on any Spillman Chrono.
You are right about the Spillman case and inverted pushers.
    Why do you think Venus?

It has been advertised for more than a month with 11 views total, this one has been waiting for me::psy::.

It's not a Venus 173 ... I was spiralling, but I have one next to me and the subdial positions are all wrong (upper watch in the photo), but the movement below is a good fit. Shame that's only marked "24" and isn't a Valjoux 24.

OK - scratch that. I can't upload photos from my phone ... haven't been able to do that for a week or more now. I'll edit with a photo in a few ...

Most if not all that I have seen of this spillman chrono are supplied with a Valjoux 22(with the exceptions of a few UG’s and a bovet).

I have a feeling that I completely miss your point:oops:

And isn’t that Venus 173 shown missing its column wheel?

OK - the mystery movement seems to be a Landeron 151 .. now, back to yours

Probably a Val 22 based on that pusher location...

Stick a new glass in there. I've never found anything that cleans these up. My guess is it's decades of smoke and tar mixed in with UV damage and God knows what else.

Love the caseback too. I'm quite sure that it is a great Catch.

In the mean time i could educate myself on how to remove the stem from the movement.

This must be the screw(see picture). Is it like with an omega 861 that i don’t need to fully drive the screw out of the socket?? Just 1.5 turns?
