    It's a very nice piece which if anything is undervalued (didn't see this one) - I think even at $4k it would have been a good deal. Personally prefer owning this to an 18k gold deluxe constellation.

    These square models are considered "deluxe models" by omega - this one has the black textured dial and the nice lugs - have never seen one like this for sale and it looks to be in nice condition. Said it already - IMO a steal at this price for a piece that would fit in well in the omega museum in Bienne or one to be auctioned at christies or sothebys.

    I had a hunch about this piece. And was even gonna bid! :( But I was away when it ended, it's a lovely thing....:mad:

    I'm in the doghouse with the Mrs., the notorious Aunt B, right now ( something about an email from a young colleague in Edmonton, a sweet young lady) and am laying low right now.
    I'm spending a bit on watchmaker tools and have sworn not to buy anything until I get my AJTT on my birthday, a few weeks from now.......unless something realllllllly nice comes along.

    Steve, having said all that, you are absolutely right. I watched it from start to finish.
