A fresh find, I think someone willing to pay a premium to get it but it will turn out nice. Hope it is a member here.

Also, maybe a 2782 reference?
Look like 2852 but need to see the movement for sure. The bracelet is very nice either. I was outbid too.

Now we're asking... who got this one?
Saw this one too, though it is a black dial the condition cant seem to compare with the gold marker

Three members (and probably more) bidding against each-other. Wish there were some way of warning one another- hey I got this one.

Wasn’t the case back medallion heavily polished on this one?

Yes. But I have a bit more practical view on watches then some (or most) members. I really see a watch as a tool to (here it comes) see the time. I dont look at a caseback while wearing it. And I rarely look at my watches when they are in the vault or box. Although I do look at case condition, it's not the most important thing for me. For me the dial is essential. Is it pleasing to look at, well... I'm going to buy it. Even if the case or caseback is polished. But I agree that this 2852 did not had the nicest dial condition. But it still was special.

For others, looking at the case back may be special too. If the goal is to use it as a tool to tell time then who cares about how special the dial is when a cheaper more accurate quartz watch will be more than sufficient?

It's fine that others have a different opinion. I understand that. But I think you dont understand what I was trying to say. Or maybe I was'nt really clear about it.

I got it--had been hopeful it would stay under $2500, which, considering the bracelet (a GF stretch rivet bracelet in close to unused shape), was a very good deal.

It's a 2852, 14.8M serial, and better in person. I know: I'll put currect spring bars on it today.

Didnt know the value of the GF bracelet 🙁🙁. Also I think I missed a 2852 deal with you in the past, sent an email too late.
