Yesterday I spent a fabulous day at the British Museum with the middle one. She's 18 and has just finished her A levels here in the UK so a memorable treat was in order (that I could enjoy too...)

I won't bore you with all the astonishing booty that the British empire hoovered up over the past 400years but I will share a few notable items from their small but sensational watch and clock collection.
