I need to start sending some of my watches out for regular maintenance, one (maybe) out for case refinishing, and eventually a few out for an overhall. Where do you send yours (if you live in the States)? There a few watch repair shops where I live (in Ohio), but how do I know if they do quality work? Lets be honest, most people don't take care of their watches. Most people own quartz. I'm not interested in where not to go, I don't want to trash anyone, I just need some advice on who does quality work .
While he has not yet serviced any Omegas for me, Wes Grau (CMW21), does fabulous work. He's Cornerstone Service in Gurnee IL. Tom
Stoll's is out near you: http://americaswatchmaker.com They serviced a 1960 Seamaster for me several years ago and did a very nice job.
