Hi All - please see pics below - I have been ranchero 1.jpg ranchero 2.jpg ranchero 3.jpg ranchero 4.jpg ranchero 5.jpg ranchero 6.jpg assured by the Seller from whom I have bought many watches that this is definitely a 100% genuine dial ...
Awaiting an Extract from the Archives ...
What are the thoughts of the Experts?
For sure if authentic this is an extremely rare variant ... thoughts?

It's not something I've seen featured here on the Forum before. It is surprising that a Ranchero would appear with a waffle dial as the model was sort of entry level.

Could it be a dial which derived from a goldfilled Ranchero?

I seem to remember that they look very similar

I have only seen these dials on the goldplated case Ranchero's.

I'm with Macomega the markers and hands are gold and a stainless case/gold furniture combo waffle is improbable because the gold plate versions are known. Discussed this with Pitpro a few weeks ago and he seems to agree. Probably put together.
