    Hi Guys,

This Ranchero is up for auction, and other than the hands (which I'm not sure if they're replacement or relumed) - does it look ok?

    s-l1600.jpg s-l1600 (1).jpg s-l1600 (2).jpg s-l1600 (3).jpg s-l1600 (4).jpg

Dial type looks ok to me, plus movement number is similar to others I have seen having a look online. I just don't know much about them!

    Cheers,
    Ed

    Horrible example. Run away.
So I can buy it :D

But the hands aren’t original radium I think.

I believe hands original, just relumed.
Otherwise agree with @gemini4, horrible :)

Sold for around 4800US. Seems like a pretty good price.

Did anyone on OF manage not to follow this one and not buy it :D

That dial looks very clean. Looks like relumed hands saved the dial from radium burn. If someone here got it be sure to share pics when it arrives.

A nice example with an original bowler-hat crown. Hope an OF member scored this.

    In answer to my question:
"Can you tell me whether the watch has been refurbished in any way? Such as whether the dial has been repainted and the case polished."

    The seller answered:
    "original dial, unpolished case"

I assumed the hands had been relumed.

    Wasn't me who bought it!

Nice example apart from the hands. The original crowns are hard to hold of now.

The second hand is too small and indeed pretty sure that hands have been relumed.
I tried, but went higher incl. tax and new/refurbished hands than I was willing to pay. ;-(
I have recently seen an Omega Ranchero White on Chrono24 (guess it is still there), which has a similarly nice dial, however, the seller indicated that it has been refurbished by Omega in 2009, so in the end I was not sure whether the one on EbAY was not eventually also restored.
