White dial...SMP or AT?

I have had a 2500 PO 43.5mm for around 12 years now and after buying a Christopher Ward C60 recently for a beater, it is 42mm and it feels so much nicer on my wrist. The PO while still amazing is a beast of a watch. It's got me thinking about buying another piece early 2021 and I think I have shortened it down to either a white dial SMP on rubber or the white dial AT also on rubber.

What do people say either way considering I already have a PO diver and my CW is a diver as well? Am I mad to go with another and get the SMP?

Appreciate your thoughts. Cheers

AT complements your collection better. I also love the horizontal lines of the white dial. I’d get it on the bracelet if you can, and buy the strap separately. It’s good to have options.

I should note I’m not a fan of the new generation SMPs, it looks proportionally off to me. I prefer my non-wave variant with the 2500 movement.

Here are my 43.5mm PO and 42mm CW for size comparisons...

I like the white lines on both the AT and SMP so it's a really tough choice but a nice one making it 😀 I don't like the lines on the black face SMP as I think it's just a bit too much.

I also think the AT gives you a more well rounded collection. It can be worn in any situation from formal to casual, by easily switching from bracelet/leather to back to rubber.

SMP all the way. The AT, for me, is the least compelling of Omega’s collection. That white dial SMP is a jewel in the current line-up, for sure. if something other than a diver is your desire the white dial Globemaster is pretty great! Just a thought.

Something about the white SMP does it for me. I'd get it on bracelet and add the rubber though myself. I do like (and own) an AT which I find super versatile but the white/orange/grey just isn't the best version of it IMO. Save the AT for when you are ready to buy a blue dial watch.

I know this is off your topic but I gotta say that CW looks pretty cool. I have read some issues with them and I know the Christopher ward placement on the dial irks people but it’s a nice looking watch

I’m a SMP kinda guy, but, I’d say the AT as it’s a great watch and a little different to the other two you have.

I have to say the CW is really good. I got the titanium version recently in their sale and I really can't fault the build quality. Super lightweight as well. Thumbs up here especially for the price.

SMP is just about in the lead based on the question 😀 thanks for all your input.

I think the AT would be the more comfortable wearing option. I tried on that color AT with the bracelet, and I liked it a lot. It also has the caliber 8900 movement, which lacks the quickset date and instead has the independent hour hand adjustment. The SMP 300m is a great option, though. You can't really go wrong between the two!

Definitely the SMP all day long - it is a very very good watch and feels great on the wrist - I have a 2011 version of the SMP and a 2017 Submariner - the SMP wins all day for me - Omega's Sub Killer !

I would say smp as I think it is the best watch I've ever owned and ive owned several omegas, rolexes and heuers. For the price I think this watch is a bargain. It looks so classy and fits in everywhere. The only rolex I would even consider buying now is a white dialled explorer.

Get what you like more when you look at your wrist!

I do have the AT and can say that it is a fantastic allrounder that can really do it all. From the boardroom to the beach club as they say ; )

I never thought I'd say that, as I'm not a big fan of the SMP, but I don't like the new Aqua Terra at all. What did they do with such a beautiful watch as the Skyfall? So I would advise you to take the SMP. The version with the white dial is really nice and the SMP is a classic.
