What do Patek Philippe ref 96 go for In Europe these days. The last one I saw on the bay 18k gold sold for 5k American dollars. Steel PP ref 96 are more expensive ! Are PP ref 96 really going lower. They used to be a premium. Sad to say,I own three vintage 18k PP and have 24k invested. Glad I started buying UG at the same time, vintage PP and Co. don't seem to have much interest in them unless it has complication ?
Ebay, Calatrava ref 96 4.25k https://www.ebay.com/itm/Men-s-Vint...=item23b0fe4b5e:g:m5IAAOSwVBRb5dOg:rk:21:pf:0

Enjoying my polerouter today, just back from service. Hmm, noticed a bit of lume has fallen out of the hour hand, probably in transport or service. Bummer, always a danger I guess. Anyhow, I love it.....

Absolute beauty.

I'm picking holes in near perfection here but those sub-dial hands look white in that photograph. Should they be silver?

Yes, you are correct, they should be silver. I restored this piece and was able to find a needed original blue hand, so painted both white as it was most practical option for them to match. Always on the hunt for original, and if I find, can simply remove paint from the silver painted hand at that time.

Thanks. It takes little, if anything, away from one of the most striking chronograph designs in my opinion. Fantastic.

Given the extremely limited 2 year production (‘63/‘64) of these, and the incredible rarity of anything related to parts, one has to work with what they can find. Will find one day. Cheers.
