    Hi all-

I have two pictures of 145.012's below, each with a different sweep hand. It was my understanding that though both were available, that the hand in the top picture with the triangle on both ends is more collectible, and that the sweep hand with one flat end (in the bottom picture) is more associated with the 861 movement. Can anyone tell me if my information is right? If it isn't please also let me know. I'd love to know the relative valuations for this watch before I buy. Thanks! 49171-b0f6abc420ceeecb14294d45c065d941.jpg

Not an expert but my understanding of it is consistent with your info.

Late serial 145.012s flat bottom is fine, earlier would be teardrop, that was the transition reference for the hand, any 145.022 should be flat bottom and any 105.012 should be teardrop bottom.

If I may make a suggestion, while you're hunting purchase the book "Moonwatch Only" as its simply a superb reference book that will both help you in your search and make you appreciate the watch itself even more when you finally secure it.

This 105.012-66 recently sold at a local auction site. It seems that the hour and minute hands are original, but the sweep hand must be a later replacement despite the watch looking like it hasn't been serviced, for quite a few years, right?

Anybody care to guess the final price?
