Due to focusing my collection theme, I plan to sell some of my Seamasters. The ordinary vintages, Cosmic 2000s and few moderns are already in the line.
However I still want to keep one vintage Seamaster theme: either waffle dial or black dial (unfortunately I don't have the black waffles....no dilemma).

Let me know what do you think:

    Trio SM black dial (1024x557).jpg

    Or

    Trio SM waffle (1024x475).jpg

    Thanks....

If black dials are less common, then I'd keep one of those.

I,d keep one gold black dial ( photo 1, right hand watch) and one white dial SS ( bottom photo rh watch).

Hopefully one of the above will be a bumper, and one a full rotor. Hopefully the gold one will be 18k

tough decision though, like selling some of the kids!

I'd keep the model on the left of each photo - the black cross hair full rotor and the white waffle bumper. Nicer variety with the dial & marker differences.

Not sure I understand the choice

Do you mean you will keep one flight of three seamasters as a theme? If that's it, then keep the black ones.

if you are asking for a choice of one from each series, then this:
If just one of the six, then the black dial with the crosshair.

If the centre black dial Seamaster has a large hippocampus, I would keep that one (plus it has white gold markers) I would definately keep the cross-hair Black dial as it's a lovely and uncommon combination, and has all the desirable attributes. And I would probably keep the first Seamaster with the diamond markers, as that is unusual too.

If you stick to a theme, keep the black dials.

If you're selling them on here, why did I say anything at all!? :p

I would sell all of them and get 1 nice bumper chronometre and perhaps 1 full rotor chronometre.

I'd be inclined to do that as well, you've got some very nice Deluxe Constellations that are just too good not to wear instead of these.

Black is certainly less common in original condition.

Yes.... it is tough decision....but I believe I need to do this.
There are 3 bumpers. The black dialed gold case is gold plated/ gold filled.

At first I thought I will keep one flight of 3 Seamasters....and continue to add with similar theme.
But I might have to reconsider it based on good inputs in here.

The centre black dial indeed has big hippocampus. You helped me acquired it from a UK auction last year...;)

What a tough choice! I vote to keep the black crosshair dial, as they are hard to find (especially in good condition like yours). After that, I don't think I can tell you which to keep:unsure: ; just be sure to offer them here first to your buddies!;)

If the black-dial one in the middle is 35mm or larger, you could always sell it to me ;)
