After much searching, time with the wrong watches and $$$ expenditure, I have settled on the specifications I want in an Aqua Terra.

I want to make sure I have the correct binary code model number as I search for a watch.

Any help you experts can provide is very much appreciated.

Here is my list of requirements

1) Under 40mm.

2) Grey/white/silver dial (wave/teak/gazpacho, any type is fine)

3) Blue Hands (I would also like blue indices, but could live without)

4) Automatic 2500/8500/8900 most anything is fine

5) Bracelet OR deployant blue/black rubber (even the much hated single side hidden clasp will be tolerated for the correct watch face and size)

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

I don't think there is a (steel) blue handed Aqua Terra. If you want blue hands you either have to go 41mm or look at different metals (titanium or gold).

If you don't mind splurging, there's the titanium GoodPlanet Foundation AT, at 38.5. It has a twin-barrel, silent rotor 8500 movement that fits the 38.5mm case size really well seen through the display caseback. 231.92.39.21.04.001.

Gong back to the first generation of Aqua Terra, there's also the 2503. Really handsome watch, and also coming in under 40mm.

You won't find a configuration matching your list in the modern line-up unless you look at the 41mm. I'm wearing my 38 right now (bought it about 6 weeks ago) and loving it! It isn't as bland in person as you might think.

I'm shooting for a 4 watch collection, so it may not be too much to splurge... That Ti is beautiful!

I'm not opposed to an earlier model with the 2500 movement. The 2503 xxx. xxx.x. x. xxx is one I have seen but couldn't pin down the exact model #

I'm intending the AT to be the daily wearer out of my 4 watch collection.

Yeah, it looks like the dinner plate watches get all the options...

I have a 41.5mm Skyfall AT and it gets ZERO wrist time because of the size....

Thats a huge shame because the Skywall Aqua Terra is a fine watch. A true keeper. I have a similar issue with watches being too large right now. I had to do a lot of research when I was deciding on getting my first proper watch and it came down to the 38mm Aqua Terra or the 36mm Oyster Perpetual. Ultimately the 8800 movement and a date window brought me to the Aqua Terra and I haven't looked back. The thickness is about 12mm (I think?) and the lug-to-lug is somewhere around 47mm or less, so its really wearable. One of the reasons I picked it tbh because I have a flat 6.3" wrist.

I truly though my AT search was over when I bought the Skyfall.

I have 8.25" wrists and absolutely hate obtrusive watches. under 15mm thickness makes me happy.

I'm at home with a 36mm datejust. One of the spots on my 4 watch collection is reserved for a 36 datejust OR a 34 oysterdate precision.

My aim for next year is to get a 34/36mm Rolex for my wife and just wear it whenever I feel like it.

I wish I could do that, but 28mm is the max size my wife can pull off!

231.10.39.21.06.001

38.5mm, cal. 8500

The most comfortable, and versatile watch in Omega’s line-up, IMO, whichever case size, or movement you settle for.
Rugged enough for recreational use, plain enough for evening wear.

Have a good one

I have the 41mm Skyfall as well, and I love it. It’s starting to get more wrist time than my speedy. I have about 7 1/4” wrist and it fits great! Great daily wearer!

I'll just leave this here 😗

That’s very nice but just a bit too sporty for me. I’m more of a dress watch on a hike or at the beach kinda guy.

Agree on how rugged it is. I've only had mine 6 weeks but I've put it through its paces. Its been in 'magnetic' environments and in tonnes of water situations. I've hit it on absolutely everything and its starting to scratch up and become my watch now rather than a beautiful brand new, shiny thing. Absolutely love it.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

As you've discovered, 2503.33.00 is a nice one with blue hands

Fits all your criteria, I believe.
