There should be a serial number on the watch - if you post that or send me a PM with it, I'll see if I can confirm, the exact model.

Many thanks for the help sir .... I see u are technician ... needed ur advice ... do U recommend the watch to be serviced and polished at the omega dealership coz I feel like I am in love with it and will keep it for ever ... usually my watch never ever see any scratches other then the clasp ones which I usually take off at home but other then that never had any scratches on my daily watches ... I will get 2 years omega warranty with it as it got it recently 2 days ago and it’s used watch and since I am going to run it for ever I am titled to give it a new look and refreshed mechanism ... at the moment I am in dubai where the omega has good presence and orginally from Pakistan where the service may not be so good ... so what’s ur take ?

    Serial number: 84509491
    Article ref: 32213000

Movement is the later version, so a 3606 rather than the 1151, but it is still based on the ETA 7751.

If you don't know when it was last serviced, it's not a bad idea to get it serviced. If you send it to Omega or not is your choice. Any watchmaker with an Omega parts account can service this. You can request that Omega not polish the watch if you like, but there's still a chance they might if the message doesn't get passed long. Most people I work for don't want their watches polished, and yours looks to be in good condition, so I don't think it really needs it.

    Cheers, Al

well can’t enough thank you for the help .... I have never polished a watch ... I started of in the watchs at age of 22 and today I am 42 and I started off with one of the trilogy watches so I am one of those guys who consider watch piece of art so I never take them in water ... always clean with soap once a month ... always put it back in the box every day ... always hand wound all my 3 watches every day ... lightly clean it With cloth every day .... now the issue is the that even a small scratch will take my eyes towards it all the time ... it doesn’t need much but just the shinny part of the watch and the bracelet have marks hairline mostly ... so will it make a huge difference if I just get it polished once to bring back the glory ? Asking coz I never polished a watch in my entire life ... the tachymeter is engraved and also Matt so I will ask them exclusively not to polish or even touch the techymeter on the bezel ... the omega people saw it and the tech guy there also says no need for service or polish ...

Hi Hussein and welcome, there are many watch collectors in Dubai as you know, one friend always has a new piece in every photo he sends to me. To polish is up to you, some people prefer their watches to show their wear but others like them pristine, and yes the factory service will maintain each surface the way they were intended so they will not polish your bezel. If you take it to a general watchmaker anything can happen with a polish so it is always best to describe clearly, and get in writing, what you want done and what you want left alone.

Your enthusiasm is something we share here, welcome and enjoy your time with us!

Many thanks indeed .... I would prefer them to be pristine will polish it from Omega and I am pretty sure that other then clasp nothing else will get even hair line scratches not even the shinny surface coz the watches u have those which have a lot if shinny surfaces also doesn’t have scratches even the hair line

@Hussain123 Please pardon my misspelling of your name in my earlier reply. I should have been more attentive.

I think that puts it at 2008 or later, but please, anyone speak up if that is incorrect.
