Quick question, which version of the Fortis Cosmonaut went into space? The Lemenia 5100? Or the Valijoux 7750?
    Or both?

Can't seem to find a definitive answer.

    Hi @axl911

I think you posted the question in the wrong section of the Omega forum Sir

    Anyway i know the answer

The 1st Fortis in space was launched into orbit from the Baikonur Cosmodrome , Kazakhstan on the 30.10.1992 on board the Russian Proton Rocket.

The Watch on board was the Fortis Stratoliner Chronograph with the Count down Uni directional semi - divers ( Not a tachy bezel ok !!! ) based on the highly prized automatic Lemania 5100 which later became part of the B 52 series with the Valjoux 7750 movement

If you're into collecting Fortis Cosmonaut Lemania 5100 watches , among the most valuable timepieces would be the

    ● " West in Space " Fortis Stratoliners
    ( LE 200 pieces in 1992 )

    ● " Andora in Space " Fortis Stratoliners ( LE 100 pieces in 1992 )[IMG]

    Ok. That's all i know. C Yah !
