Hi everyione,
I'm looking for help on choosing a Flieger.

I'm a little stuck on both dial type (A or B), and if to go for a faux or real bronze, or no bronze.
Any opinions welcome.

These are the choices I'me looking at, but feel free to suggest others.

Thank you very much in advance.

Laco aachen and Augsburg olive are great. The green is somewhere between grey and green and it works great with bronze colour of case. I prefer this combo over usual white on black.

Whether you go A or B dial in steel or bronze may depend on the other pieces in your collection. I have other watches with conventional “A” style dial layouts and many steel pieces so I chose a B dial in bronze to add some variation in my collection. This is the bronze Flieger Friday SE from Stowa. I did a more thorough review and comparison with the Archimede bronze pilot in the thread below:

Bronze? No! Just No! Personal opinion only, because I just don’t like bronze.

Bronze doesn't appeal to me personally for some reason. I bought a Stowa Flieger A because I realized that none of my vintage watches had numerals on the dial, and to me, the standard dial is instantly recognizable. I also really liked the look of the hand brushed steel case, and that I could customize it (date/none, logo/sterile dial, Flieger engraving/none, and automatic/manual). Not sure why I sold it, but ended up recently getting the Stowa Verus 40. Similar style, but this case is bead blasted so it has a matte, titanium look to it. Manual wind is only 9.2mm thick, light and comfortable to wear. I was also able to add a red second hand for about $50 US.

In my opinion, they are all great choices, as long as it is a Sterile type A dial, manual wind in steel...
🍿

Although those Stowa LE's are damn sexy even in Type B with bronze.
