Your crown should look like this one. However as the one on it now matches, I would not be all that fussed or be in a hurry to change it. It is not that important. Can you post some close ups of your current crown. Are you sure the Omega sign is not just worn off? Yours looks very like the Omega one.

Sorry to take so long to reply. The seller rang me to tell me he has had the watch serviced and his watch repairer had replaced the 'non-omega crown' (his belief was that the original had been replaced at some point) with an original omega crown but it is not rose gold coloured.
I am expecting delivery of the watch on Monday. I'll get some pics and maybe I need to get back to the seller to get the old crown back.

As you can see a yellow gold plated Omega crown has been fitted to replace what the seller believed to be a non-Omega crown. So which of the Cousins replacements would be correct/nearest?

I had a similar situation with my date at "6" Seamaster. You may have an issue even if Cousins has the correct pink gold crown, as the shades of gold used in the modern pieces sometimes doesn't match the older gold on the bezel.

Check with your watchmaker or jeweler. He may know someone who can "dip" the crown to make it pink gold. I had this done and it matches perfectly.

Yes, I had new hands installed at the same time. These were dipped as well.

    Good luck,

Great recommendation, this may be the best and easiest course.

it is kind of wrong that the seller did not use actual photos of the watch in the auction. The crown is completely different. ::rant:

He did, it was only the crown that was changed as he thought it non original. Have contacted him to ask if the jeweller still has the old one.
