My Omega AD has given me a cracking deal on a new Bullhead. Fortunately he still has all three in stock (obviously not great for him),and I'm spoiled for choice. Can we have a quick poll as I've told him I'd pick it up tomorrow and I have to have made a decision by then.

Have a look at Churchill & Wolff online watch brokers. I bought a Dark Side from them and got a great discount.

“Rallye“ with a 60-minute scale​

Complete with a silver-coloured “Rallye” dial, this OMEGA Seamaster Bullhead is offered on a black perforated leather strap with red stitching. It has a black 60-minute scale on its black bi-directional rotating inner beze​

 

I suppose that technically they might be classed as grey import but as the watch has warranty card stamped and dated by an AD and the serial number is intact on the case with matching card then who would ever know? I just picked it up on my travels in Europe.

As a Design Professional ..............I have to say, personally, I am not really enthralled with any of them.

This disinterring of past iconic styles, seems to display an aridity of original thought, & a slight desperation on the part of Omega's Designers.

Maybe it is more of a 'Marketing Profile' exercise than a 'Homage'

A comparison might be the stream of once children's, now adults 'Comic Hero' films pouring from Hollywood - No new ideas, so just recycle what has worked in the past, albeit 'blinged up'

Alternatively, perhaps a 'Tribute Band'...looks / sounds, roughly the same, ......but not the real thing

If pushed........I suspect the Black dial will hold it's value better

The colour scheme on the white is a bit too 'Yachtmaster' for my personal taste

 

My preference in order: silver, black, then white.

Just returned from the dealers empty handed. They have just got the 45th anniversary Speedmaster in. Know I'm really confused as it's gorgeous and cheaper than the Bullhead.http://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/watchmaking/baselworld-2014?#!/speedmaster-apollo-11

 

It's a tough call but I'll probably still go for the Bullhead just because it'll be easier to get the 45th later in the future.

 

For a similar price, I would get the 1979 Seamaster Rallye, I wasn't kidding.
