Since I am probably never going to take great photos of my watches, I must resort to gimmicks. This is a challenge: Identify the item in the background of the photo. You must be very specific. The most specific and correct answer wins. misc watch 029.JPG

It's an ad, maybe a poster, for a movie I think.

Good lord. I may be giving you guys too much credit. It is not Elvis...although I'm sure to Aussies we yanks probably all look like the king. Dennis, you have taken the first baby step toward being correct. It is not an ad...well...not like in a magazine.

Do I have to give hints? It's a poster from the 50s.

And it's not fair to just guess all of his movies. I need an exact answer...movie, actor, and TYPE of poster.

That is NOT John Cusack. And it's not Paul Hogan, either...so don't try that.

It's James Dean in a movie poster from the movie 'Rebel Without a Cause'. I think that poster also has a picture of the beautiful Natalie Wood, if my memory serves me correctly!

You have the actor and the film...notice the toy monkey in that German poster from Rebel. It's probably not reasonable to ask for more specifics on the poster. I will declare rgdejong the winner, but I was also looking for the exact poster. I have a thing for movie posters, too...especially what are generally called 3 sheets. They are the equivalent of 3 regular movie posters stacked horizontally. And there is a nice shot of young Natalie Wood in the poster. I just got a great 3 sheet of Dr. Strangelove linen backed. I'm sure some of you know that film. "Gentlemen, you can't fight here....this is the war room."
