Birthday fast approaching and Aunt B is getting me AJTT. She doesn't know it yet, so I need to do some groundwork.
Is Amazon's $400 US the best deal? I've watched the bay for months and there doesn't seem to be any bargains to be had.

I fully realize that I owe it to my friends here to invest in my own education and try to mooch less off of theirs'.

Note to Mod's: Please edit "Through" before Dennis sees it. Thanks

I thought I had seen it a bit cheaper (not much) through the omega website, but only for shipping to US/Canada

Mine is on the way from Amazon/Watchprint US - so if somebody's got a line on significantly cheaper (new) ones, I'll now cover my ears and run away.

This book is worth it even if you have to pay a few more bucks than the lowest price.

    Damn! Going like hotcakes!
I went ahead and placed the order for, perhaps, the last one. We'll see.
Abe books has it for 6 bills but Aunt B would make me dress up in the Viking outfit if I spent that much $.

If you have a good relationship with your AD, you can sometimes do very well getting them through there, I've heard of boutiques doing them very affordably to known customers.

I paid full price in Omega Champs Elysées the day after it was launched. Still have no regrets, it's a good complement to original catalogues.

    Hope you'll find one, it's a must!

It's ordered, Happy Birthday to me!
I didn't even give Watchtime a chance to respond to my query, Watchprint is only a few dollars more.

Yann, you and Warren are two of the people that I identify with the most on this forum. Warren is the consummate gentlemen, willingly spending his valuable time to help others and you, while somewhat new to me, you sir are the advanced Master with the tastes most similar to my own and the skillset that I covet the most (Sorry, Warren, I just don't like those Cosmics). I view this purchase as a step toward acquiring a small part of that skillset.
Mike is the Godfather and Dennis is the hitman and there are many Caporegime in our family.
And. while it is a diseased family (I have bought a watch I'll never wear and a picture book without naked ladies for $400), I feel privileged to be accepted or at least tolerated.
    Thanks to all.
