    Hi

I have just acquired this Omega Cosmic 2000 in gold but the two end links of the 1040 bracelet are 1) not in gold and 2) damaged... would you have an idea where I could find these ?

    Few pics to illustrate :

Thanks a lot for your help !

PS: sorry for bad pics... I clearly need to improve my photographer skills

I guess you mean how to write in English? If i understand you right you need to find some new or used endlinks in gold? Or goldplated 20 microns ? For a 1040 bracelet .

I am not sure that it is a 1040 bracelet . Could it be a 1171 instead? Are the lugs on the watch 20 mm

I think the end link you should be looking for is 676 in goldplated . Ome026LX676 it says on Ofrei . I am not hundred % so if some one could verified that the bracelet is a 1171? And the watch is a reference 166.128?

Thanks to your comment that's what I found as well on the website as well... Reference Ome026LX676 at 48 USD, for the ones interested (http://www.ofrei.com/page838.html)

To give you a better idea of what I currently have: the first one damaged which look clearly a wrong end link
    end link1.jpg
and the second one which looks correct but "white"...
    end link2.jpg

Probably someone has changed the clasp for a 1040 . They took what they had at the time . But the bracelet should be a 1171 with 676 end links . It's Ofrei or if you can find some nice ones on the Ebay?

Ok . That is a lot of money to pay in postage for some end links . I didn't now you where in Europe . You could get it for $22,40 from Ofrei if it just some small parts . If you write that in the order you do . Check if Cousinsuk have them

Thanks for the advice. Bob replied to my email saying it will only cost 30 USD to send it but they are working on another way of sending the items that will be much cheaper in the coming weeks... when reading other spreads about this I have the feeling it actually can take a bit longer. :)
