I am sorry if this was already discussed in the past but for the life of me I couldn't find anything before posting this. Looking for some vendors that have good leather bands with lots of variety.
I've actually bought quite a few off cheapestnatostraps.com over the years. Despite the name they stock a huge variety of leather straps, and I've found them to be of high quality, especially considering the price.
Thank you all for the info. Cheapestnatostraps.com is indeed cheap but there is no mention where they are made. At those prices Is safe to assume in China
I'll give a plug for Doug Jones in Tokyo. He does beautiful work, all with his own hands and his prices are reasonable. Moreover, he's a very nice guy with whom to work! You can find him on Etsy or here https://www.etsy.com/shop/JonesInTokyoLeather
Yes, I'm assuming made in China. They ship out of Sweden I believe, and I've never had any problem with them, but I'm sure they can't compare to the bespoke items other members have recommended. I just love switching up straps, and therefore buy too many, so the economics dictate cheapestnato for me...
lately, i've been loving and almost exclusively wearing zuludiver nato leather straps by watchgecko. have a couple of horween and non-horween leathers. http://www.watchgecko.com not the cheapest, and not bespoke, but for the price IMHO a fantastic value. also, A&U straps, a microbrand from spain. they're on the bay (seller: vlanazar)
I own and have bought from HODINKEE, Camille Fournet, Hirsch, Bulang, Strapped For Time (Custom), David Boettcher (trench style for wire lugs)! If you want something really cool try Combat straps of Montreal. I want to use them next. Quality matters.
If you like alligator, this vietnamese vendor is very good: https://www.ebay.com/sch/vnhandcraftart/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
