Hi, I need help please...
I have an omega quartz 18k yellow gold ref 79801101 womens 18k gold watch with black leather strap. Its never been worn (still has watch face protective stickers on). It's fully boxed with warranty cards etc.
I just don't know where best place to sell it is? Any ideas would be very welcome.
Thank you in advance.

eBay probably. Not a big market for these, so you need to get it in front of a big audience to hopefully find a buyer.

TBH, the easiest thing might just be to scrap it for the gold value, since it's unlikely to be worth much more, given the high price of gold right now.

Hello, depends on where you are. Do you have classified boards in your country?
You could try a local sale provided you find a safe place to trade in cash and in person.
That’s what I did in my country for a couple ladies watches and before I joined forums.
Best regards

Whom ever buys it will probably scrap it.

Or you could melt it down yourself. Then use the gold to make aftermarket constellation bezels and charge a premium for such.

If NOS and clean. I think you could get good money. More than scrap gold price

put it on EBay with no reserve and let the bidding tell the story. Put everything that came with it

Quartz for some women is more preferred

some are asking close to a grand for one as it’s 18kt I assume

It’s really hard to predict what anyone would do or prefer without a picture.
