It has had a new bezel many years ago, there is no serial number anywhere on the exterior , or strap , would it be inside the watch.... is it a copy.?? any help thanks.

    Hi, welcome!

Inside, on the movement - best opened by a watch maker. ;)

I have included a picture of a later version of your watch, with a different movement. The serial number on mine is on the outer circumference of the movement at about the 8:00 position. Yours will likely be something similar. It's real (IMO).

Bob sells for three or four thousand bucks? :p

If that bracelet is what I think it is, that alone is worth a pretty penny.

Nope. I'd sell the bracelet separately from the watch head to make the most money. The watch has a few issues that affect price. The wrong modern bezel, the crystal is either aftermarket and gives a wierd effect or the rehaut is missing. The rehaut is the area next to the dial on the case.

It's a solid watch but not a top dollar one. The bones are there for a great colllectors watch if the correct bezel can be sourced and the crystal/rehaut thing can be corrected. The hands and dial look awesome.

Are you wanting to sell? If so, get a watchmaker to open the back, take hi res pics of movement and inside case back plus from all angles of the exterior and stick it on a no reserve ebay auction.

    It'll fly.

Side note. The watch needs a service do not wind it and run it. The lubricant has broken down and will start to cause wear on the movement.

Also note that if you take it to a watchmaker for service do NOT allow them to polish the case or bracelet, or replace visible parts that are original. Do not send it to Omega for service, because they consider it their mission to make it look new, which destroys vintage value.
