I want to make a G10 style strap. Does anyone know where I can source some straight cross weave nylon ribbon, Specifically three colours: Dark Navy Blue; Dark Olive and fine Burgundy stripes, but I'd like to see what's out there. No probs getting the hardware.

 

around here (Canada) the outdoor equipment supply store (MEC - mountain equipment co-op) has rolls of nylon webbing in all colours.....I don't know if they would have the right width though.
I have a whole bunch but it is 1" wide that I used to use when climbing/backpacking, won't work for a strap, I've tried a few methods to cut it/melt it/alter it to be the right width but none have been successful

Not sure ware you live but have a place called Hobby Lobby its a big art and crafts store and they may have a good assortment for cheep good luck with your fun project!!
