There seem to be loads of them on ebay recently. Does anyone know the story behind them? Are they some sort of Mk2 Watchco with genuine service parts?

Here's one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Refurbish...230734?hash=item1c88cd27ce:g:~jAAAOSwH09ZOBHOPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Due credit to the seller in that he openly describes it as "refurbished" rather than "NOS". Not everyone is being so upfront.

Lizard people from the 7th dimension are producing these 120m knockoffs to lure unsuspecting watch collectors into their grasp.

Go to the naughty corner and don't come back until you can provide a concise and reasoned response.

And leave that bag of boiled lollies on my desk!

Watchco turned 300's into a "thing" maybe this is their offhand way of relieving 120 stock?

Turning their stocks of 120 parts into completed watches and passing them through private channels, not to effect the vintage market as much like what happened to 300's for a while, when everybody could have a "beater" 300 the price on originals took a hit. It's just a theory, like everybody else's.

Nvm.. Dial is not a service dial, I'm sorry I didn't realize the horrible blotchy printing. So these parts are fake?

The description says the dial and bezel have been repainted so not necessarily fake but completely worthless either way at this point.

There are no Seamsateer 120 cases available from Omega, so Watchco can't be putting a bunch of these together and selling them like they did with the SM300's and some other models. Remember their parts were not NOS as claimed, just new parts still being made. If Omega doesn't have them, very unlikely someone has a large stash of these that they are putting together in that same way.

    Cheers, Al

The description says it's a automatic ETA movement![emoji33] but the pic shows a manual wound Omega movement.
