They know I'm strangely attracted to watches.
I'm shown this size 18 pocket watch.
I doesn't take long to figure out that it's an Omega from about 1920.
These were cased in, and made for the Canadian market.
The next watch is proving more difficult.
I had my camera with me but not my case back opener.
This paper is original to the watch.
Mimo seems to be the parent company of Girard Perregaux.
I'm wondering if HYDE was one of their trade names.
Anybody have any insights?
