I think Norm has one of these in the large size Scarab that looks awesome, like in an Ernst Stavro Blofeld kind of way, and every time I see one of these I think oh wow those lugs are so damn cool... and I have to have it and then its 22mm... How hard is it to be a Bond Villain... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-19...item4b5e8351d5:g:2BEAAOSwOt5cMRQo:rk:104:pf:0Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
If you like the watch, but can't wear it. I would just give it to the wife or girlfriend, and stare at the watch all the time.
I had one of these and it really isn't as bad as the 22mm makes it out. Due to the case shape it wears a bit like a contemporary tank style Omega. @tdn-dk has it now and I'd be forever grateful if he would take a photo of it whilst wearing it as he has slightly larger wrists than me
That being said... Isn't the one in the link the big one? I don't think that the small one was made with sub-seconds and there shouldn't be a cut-out for the crown. Still a redial, though.
I came in touch with this watch just this weekend. Still trying to get more details - and pics- and to see if the owner might part with it. If you’d potentially be interested please let me know. I believe it’s around 34/35mm.
