I like Speedmasters but I can have a wandering eye.

I especially like to buy what look to me like special watches being sold by collectors I trust. (@michael e thanks to you)

First I took a punt on a Mexican Box:

Then I came home to UK, bringing the box with me, for a few precious days in the Watch Cave, I rediscovered a watch, waaaay off my usual stamping ground. Follow the pictures and more will be revealed:

I dont know its age, or what it is supposed to be for. (Anyone know?)

Yes it has an inner box....

    Not gold, just gold coloured...

    And inside I put....

I have no idea if it is contemporary, but I like it.

A non speedmaster post especially for @ulackfocus

Have a good bank holiday everyone!

Good tease... that inner box is very cool.

Can we go back to talking about Speedmasters now? :D

After looking closer, I think it is something newer, not a 2699 and maybe you are right. A 2700.
